Will Mobile numbers be of 13 digits from 1st July 2018 ?
A BSNL letter copy is viral with text claiming our regular mobile number which currently is made of 10 digits will be 13 digits from.1st July 2018.
The letter uses a term M2M which people consider as a Mobile to Mobile but it actually is Machine to Machine.
SMHoaxSlayer called up the Land Line number in the letter for confirmation and was told that this letter is not about our regular mobile number but the SIM cards used in machines/devices communicating with each other
E.g. credit/debit cards swiping machines.

From July 2018, Mobile numbers will be upgraded to 13 digits.
