It’s not the FIRST seaplane as media claims !
It could be the FIRST riverplane but not at all first seaplane as mainstream media is claiming.
Year 2010 – “Jal Hans is a commercial seaplane service based in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands of India. It is a pilot project that was launched on 30 December 2010 by the then Indian Civil Aviation Minister, Praful Patel, at Juhu Aerodrome in Mumbai
Year 2011 – Mehair was launched in 2011, Source Forbes
Year 2013 – Kerala launches country’s first tourist seaplane service – Times of India
Jun 2, 2013 – Kerala today launched the country’s first tourist seaplane service that would enable holidayers enjoy the panoramic beauty of the ‘God’s Own Country’ through easy connectivity to distant backwater destinations. – Times Of India
But Media and many went bonkers and used word “First”
