A disturbing video is viral in Pakistan showing a man flogging a woman hanged on a tree while mob is a mute audience.

Truth
Althought the disturbing video is real but the text accompanying it is a lie. Their is no Hindu-Muslim angle involved in it. This happened last year in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh
The culprit, man flogging the victim, his wife is doing it as a punishment declared by Local Panchayat after him catching his wife sleeping with another man as the mob looks on. He also flogged the other man too.

A video floating around social media has captured a man ruthlessly flogging his wife on the orders of the panchayat in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district.
A report on Hindustan Times said that the husband, along with a former panchayat head and his son, has been arrested. A case has also been registered against 18 people, 12 of them unidentified, based on the video clip.
“Former pradhan Shersingh, his son Shravan, and woman’s husband, Shaudan Singh, have been arrested and raids are underway to arrest other accused,” the report quotes Bulandshahr SP Praveen Ranjan Singh.
Police said that the panchayat came up with the punishment of flogging because they wanted to “teach a lesson to the woman”.
Reports have it that after the flogging, former pradhan Shersingh and his croonies molested the woman and threatened her to keep silent.
The woman has claimed that Shersingh had ordered that her flogging be recorded and used as an example of the ‘consequences of eloping’.”
