A video is viral in which 2 men are beating a man lying on the floor while others are looking on.

Truth
Although, beating is unjustified, should have handed the victim to the law first, but the victim is neither dailt, nor was he dragged inside the mosque.
This happened in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh on 29th May 2019. Victim’s name is Sameer and is an Urdu Teacher. He went to read Namaaz in the Mosque where others thought of him as a Mobile thief, locked him in a room and started beating.
हापुड़. करीमपुरा में मोबाइल चोरी के शक में कुछ लोगों ने एक युवक को मस्जिद के कमरे में बंदकर लात घूंसों से बेरहमी से पीटा। मामला एक सप्ताह पहले का है। लेकिन अब वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद हरकत में आई पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज किया है। पीड़ित युवक का इलाज अस्पताल में चल रहा है। पुलिस ने आरोपियों को चिन्हित करने में जुटी है।
