Is it too much of a hardwork to check disclaimers of websites ?
Just because the “Kiddle” sounds similar to “Google” it should be Google’s initiative ?
With due respect dear Times Of India, on whom should we rely on anymore.
Times of India Claims – “Even though Google answers it all, the fear of wrong internet exposure has always hovered around you when your kid is surfing for his school project. But you can take a chill pill now. Google’s much-awaited search engine Kiddle is here and experts recommend it.”
While the Privacy Policy Page of the Kiddle itself says “Kiddle is powered by Google Safe Search but is not affiliated with Google Inc.“
“A new website called Kiddle.co has launched promising a child-friendly search engine for kids browsing the internet. But the new tool appears to have caused some confusion and concerns among users.
A number of news outlets have reported the search engine site is an official Google spin-off looking to cater to young internet users.”
