A 3 year old photo from Delhi is viral claimed from China with suspicions and mysteries.
A photo of Sonia Gandhi with her family with Chinese officials is viral with different allegations/questions.
Amit Malviya (In-charge of BJP’s national Information & Technology) tweeted this photo claiming to be 12 years old i.e. 2008, with this Gandhi family visiting China, and asked, why did they accepted China’s Hospitality.
He tweeted – “Sonia Gandhi and her entire family’s China visit in 2008 is significant. Back then, she or any of her children weren’t holding any public office, then on what basis did they accept Chinese hospitality? Why is the family’s interest, from Doklam to Ladakh, above national interest?“
By now, his tweet has been retweeted for more than 1600 times.

Republic and Times now ran programs that when and why this family meet Chinese envoy/officials, is there something wrong ? Times used word “Chakkar” while Republic claimed Vadra talked to ‘China’

Truth
The photo was from a Chinese food festival “Diaoyutai Food Festival” held in April 2017 in Taj Hotel, Delhi attended by ministers from other parties as well.
We found this image easily by reverse searching on Google so how can these 2 big channels miss ?

This photo was uploaded on Chinese Embassy website in Delhi in April 2017, claiming they were invited to a Chinese food festival event in Taj Hotel, Delhi which was inaugurated by Mr. Suresh Prabhu
