People’s Laziness and speed of Fake News !
In this age of information consumption, how our brain is tailored to believe in what is served to us without even checking is also a huge criteria in spreading fake news.
Today a message is making rounds on WhatsApp claiming schools will remain closed to morrow due to heavy rains with a link to MLA & MH Education Minister Vinod Tawde’s Tweet.
What people fail to understand or rather are being lazy to check is the date of the tweet.
While the message says 20th September i.e tomorrow, the tweet was posted on 29th Aug.
Yes, the rains again are heavy today in Mumbai but the source given in the message is wrong.
