The claim is false. Naseeruddin Shah has not been hospitalised and is fine. Naseeruddin Shah through his personal account of Facebook posted that he is fine, is home observing lockdown and asked the people not to believe in rumors. Shah’s son and actor, Vivaan Shah through his official twitter handle also assured the public that his father is doing well and offered his prayers to Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. Various news publications like Hindustan Times, News18, etc. have reported that the claim is false. Actress Ratna Pathak, Shah’s wife told News18 that her husband was absolutely fine.
The claim was false and was just a rumor that caused panic among the public.
All well everyone! Baba's just fine. All the rumours about his health are fake. He's keeping well 🙏Praying for Irfan Bhai and Chintu ji. Missing them a lot. Deepest condolences to their families. Our hearts go out to all of them. It's a devastating loss for all of us 😔🙏
