Using a reverse image search, we found that this image has been around on social media for a while now.
It has been shared on different platforms with different claims throughout the years.
The oldest post containing this image was on a Tamil blog on May 21, 2016. While there was no context provided for the image, it was titled “Free water supply to ease summer sun!” The translated webpage can be seen here.
It was posted to Facebook a few days later on May 23, 2016.
Thus, this photograph does not show Muslim children offering cool water to migrants boarding trains. This image is at least four years old.
