The video shows many Bollywood celebrities arriving for the ceremony and also shows a body being carried.
The video has been circulated widely on Facebook and has over 10,000 views.

The video that has been going viral is not of Rishi Kapoor’s funeral. The video shows a lot of people and celebrities arriving and none of them are wearing masks which is against the current rules due to the Corona virus. Upon doing relevant search it was found that the video is from the funeral of Krishna Raj Kapoor (Rishi Kapoor’s mother) who passed away on 1st October, 2018. Rishi Kapoor couldn’t attend her funeral because he was undergoing treatment then. The old video is going viral with the claim that it is Rishi Kapoor’s funeral. Some have shared the old video attached with the actual images and videos taken from Rishi Kapoor’s funeral.
Rishi Kapoor’s funeral was conducted in Chandanwadi, Mumbai with few close family members and friends present. Various established channels and publications have reported about the same with videos and photos attached.
This claim is one of many were an old video is being used with a recent incident to fool the public. While Bollywood passes through a gloomy face with the death of 2 famous actors, it also is becoming the theme for fake news.
