Mob attack video wrongly connected to Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann
A video featuring an attack on a person by a mob, with police trying to rescue the attacked, is being circulated on social media. Claims are being made by some on social media that the attacked person was Punjab’s Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.

On further search about the incident, it was found that the person attacked by the mob in the video was Amandeep Singh Boparai, president of the Yuva Jatt Sabha. Factly reported about this false news and found that this video is from 13 April 2024 during a ‘Jatt Divas’ rally in Gole Bazar, Jammu. The same video of the incident was posted by ‘Jk Rozana News’.
Amandeep Singh Boparai further elaborated on the incident where he was attacked by the mob in video by Punjab Kesari.
He even posted a video about this incident on his Facebook account.
