Did a 5G tower get burnt down in Italy by angry citizens?

A viral video has been doing the rounds that allegedly shows a 5G mobile tower burning in the city of La spieza in Italy. The video has a man speaking, where he explains what he can see in Italian. Claims made with regards to the video states that the tower was burnt by angry citizens. The full video can be viewed here and screenshots from the video are as follows:

The claim on the video is misleading. A simple Google Reverse image of keyframes showed that the incident was attended by the La Spieza fire brigade on April 6th. A consecutive check on their official website showed the following details. Note that there is not mention of the tower being a 5G tower.

Another result that showed from the Google Reverse search was an article that was published by ‘Città della Spezia’ which is a news platform that reports on news exclusively from the ‘City of La Spezia’. The entire article can be found here and screenshots are as follows:

Note that the underlined text in the image above confirms that the tower was not a 5G tower but instead handled other devices. The article also goes onto mentions that the video has been shared that the fire was a result of angry protests against 5G where its being claimed for having caused Coronavirus. The Hindu carried an article where 5G towers are being burnt in different parts of the world for the reason. The article can be read here.

The transmission tower according to nPerf which is a platform that traces all telecommunication towers confirms that  the tower that caught fire belonged to Italian telecom operator by the name of Wind Tre.
