Was the White House stormed in by protestors amidst the death of African-American George Floyd?

A video is doing the rounds on social media that allegedly shows protestors breaking into a huge white building with claims that it is the White House. This video has popped up amidst increasing protests in the United States of America seeking justice for African-American man George Floyd who had died as a result of police brutality in Minnesota, USA. The entire video can be viewed here and screenshots of the same are as follows:

On Facebook, the video was shared along with the caption, “Yooooooo this crazy they stormed the White House they are on the west lawn, at the door. Babylon is burning.”

The protests outside The White House turned violent with the authorities declaring the condition ‘red’ and taking the US President to a bunker for protection amidst the death of George Floyd.

However, the building in question that can be seen in the video is not the White House.

A report filed by NBC4i, a Columbus based news website stated that  “Protest in downtown Columbus broken up after demonstrators breach Ohio Statehouse”. A video from the protest as posted under this article can be viewed here. Screenshots of the same is as follows:

A Google Reverse Search Image showed that the building shown in the video closely represents the Ohio Statehouse.

A close comparison of the building as obtained from a screenshot in the video to the Ohio Statehouse as taken from Google Maps shows the following common points of identification:

Hence the building from the video was not the White House but the Ohio Statehouse.
