Man who spitted on cops inside the van is from Mumbai, not from the Nizamuddin markaz.
A video of a police van scuffle in which a man spitted on police is going viral along with text on all the social media platforms.
Claim: The video claims about a person who has been taken in custody post his return from the Tableeghi Jamaat event held at Markaz in Nizamuddin. During a scuffle in the police van, he spits on a policeman.

Truth
With the help of keyframes from this video, we had a search on various search engines and we came across a few news articles on this. The Marathi newspaper Lokmat and Mumbai Mirror were the first ones who published this video with an article on 29th February 2020. The article states that the prisoner named Mohammad Ansari from Thane was taken to a court at Dindoshi in Mumbai and while being escorted back to the prison by Thane Police van he had a minor scuffle with the escorting policemen. As per Lokmat’s report, the prisoner Mohamamd Ansari was not happy with the policemen who refused him from eating the food which was brought by his relatives during the hearing.
So in our investigation, this claim that this man was a part of a recent event organized at Markaz in Nizamuddin by Tableeghi Jamaat is not correct.
